Berkowitz, who is now 72, is currently incarcerated at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility in Ulster County, New York. He was found guilty of six counts of second degree murder and seven counts of attempted second degree murder in 1978 and sentenced to 25-years-to-life in prison for each murder.
