The Golden State Warriors lost a neck-and-neck matchup against the Phoenix Suns tonight, falling 99-98 and dropping to 13-15 for the season. They’re now 9th in the West.

The Hornets knocked down a franchise record 24 three-pointers in a 133-126 win over the Hawks. Jalen Johnson had 43 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists in that defeat. The Pelicans, Trail Blazers and Mavericks all snagged overtime victories.
While injuries have been a major problem for the Warriors, the issue that is just as large is that the younger players the group has been banking on to take another step haven’t done so yet this season.
