Third baseman Alec Bohm is back with the Philadelphia Phillies as they continue closing in on the National League East title for 2024. Bohm has been sidelined since Aug. 29 with a wrist injury he suffered while swinging the bat against the Atlanta Braves.

The Phillies' All-Star third baseman had been on the injured list with a left hand strain since Sept. 6. Alec Bohm was scheduled to play two games in Lehigh Valley this weekend, but the Phillies saw all they needed to see after game one.

The Phillies announced Sunday morning that they’ve activated third baseman Alec Bohm from the 10-day injured list. Catcher Aramis Garcia was designated for assignment to make room for Bohm on the club’s active roster.

Alec Bohm has been out since Aug. 28, but the All-Star will start at third base and bat fifth for the Philadelphia Phillies against the New York Mets on Sunday.
