Former Steelers legend fired by ESPN after 11 years
Ryan Clark’s long run at ESPN ended during a normal workday, not with a farewell show. The network told the former Pittsburgh Steelers safety that it was cutting ties with him after 11 years on television.
ESPN is cutting ties with prominent NFL analyst and former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark, according to a report by The Athletic. Clark had been with the network for more than a decade, and rose to prominence of a multitude of their programming.
The Arizona Cardinals have the luxury of staying at home another week and will welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers at 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday at State Farm Stadium. Arizona is limping into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
