Giannis Antetokounmpo has been at the center of trade rumors amid a rough start to the season for the Milwaukee Bucks, but there is reportedly only one scenario in which the team would consider moving him.

The Bucks superstar may hold the fate of his team in his hands, and his departure would likely only happen if he requested a trade. Marc Stein, NBA insider, reported that all 29 teams around the league expect the Bucks to hold tightly to Giannis unless he demands to get traded.

According to NBA insider Marc Stein, luxury tax restrictions have hindered the Bucks from entertaining possible trades. He added that the team will only move Antetokounmpo if he makes the request. For now, the eight-time All-Star has remained mum, even expressing his support for much-criticized Bucks coach Doc Rivers.
