The South Dakota high school football quarterfinals are here, and we've got highlights and scores from games across Thursday night.

Week 9 of the Section 2 football season is a bit spread out — but there are several key games as part of the Capital Region’s slate of Thursday night games. Games start kicking off tonight at 6 p.m. Class AA matchups between CBA and Colonie, and Shaker and Guilderland lead the way.

BYU remained unbeaten after defeating Iowa State 41-27. The No. 11-ranked Cougars improved to 8-0 and are still tied atop the Big 12 standings (5-0) with Cincinnati after overcoming a 14-point deficit in the first half.
