The Marlington and CVCA high school boys soccer teams met in a Division III, Region 10 final game at Ravenna on Sunday, Nov. 2. CVCA held off Marlington 2-1 to advance to the Ohio High School Athletic Association state tournament in Division III.

Frankenmuth didn’t trail until the final minutes of overtime, dropping a Division 3 soccer regional championship match Thursday to Lansing Catholic. Lansing Catholic scored two goals in overtime to claim a 3-2 win Thursday, advancing to the Division 3 semifinal game at p.m. Tuesday at Howell against 20-2-1 Detroit Country Day.
