Four people died after 14 people were shot at a family gathering in Stockton in northern California on Saturday night, police said.

A 30-year-old flight instructor and her flight student are presumed dead after their plane went down over Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana on Nov. 24. Wreckage from the plane has since been found.
