The Cardinals made a surprise late change ahead of Monday Night Football — veteran Calais Campbell has suddenly appeared on the injury report.

The Cardinals' Kyler Murray (foot) is questionable for Monday night's game against the Cowboys after practicing in limited fashion all week. As per Saturday reports, even if Murray is cleared to play,

The Dallas Cowboys opened their practice week on Thursday for Monday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals and released their first injury report of the week. Three players did not practice, six who were limited and four who practiced fully. Four are in their 21-day practice windows on various reserve lists.

The Bills held out receiver Joshua Palmer (knee, ankle), running back Ray Davis (illness), and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (calf) from practice. The club limited defensive end Joey Bosa (rest), defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (rest), kicker Matt Prater (right calf), and linebacker Shaq Thompson (hamstring).

Well, according to the NFL transaction report, the Cardinals released two players. They cut running back Michael Carter and cornerback Darren Hall. The move to cut Carter is interesting because that leaves only two running backs on the roster — Bam Knight and Emari Demercado, who missed the Cardinals' last game with an ankle injury.
