Elon Musk’s X told Brazil’s Supreme Court that it had appointed two attorneys to represent it in the country, nearly three weeks after a top judge ordered internet providers to block access to the social media platform in Latin America’s largest nation.

Brazil has fined Elon Musk's companies after some users in the country were able to briefly access the social media platform X, despite a ban imposed last month. Brazilian users swarmed the site on Wednesday after X updated how its servers within the country were accessed.

Elon Musk's social media platform X will present a Brazil legal representative to the local Supreme Court "very soon", the firm's lawyers said on Thursday, as the company battles a ruling that sought to shut down its operation in the country.
