In the final weekend of October, the Boston College Eagles went on the road to face the then No19-ranked Louisville Cardinals in Kentucky, ultimately losing 24 – 38.

For those who watched the game, you know that Notre Dame didn’t play overly well during the victory against the Eagles. It was a very up and down performance, and there was a lot more down than you should be comfortable with.

Lombardo spoke after practice on Thursday about his success this season where he credited his teammates punter Shamus Florio and long snapper Cooper Crook. “Cooper and Shamus have been great,” said Lombardo. “I feel like I have the best snapping and holding situation in the country which makes my job a lot easier.”
