Astros second baseman Jose Altuve and Dodgers utilityman Mookie Betts led the field of Silver Slugger honorees, which included seven first-time winners.

The Yankees’ twin star outfielders added more hardware to their trophy cases, and the Bombers as a whole won American League team honors.

Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani and the Yankees' MLB home run leader Aaron Judge both were both awarded Silver Sluggers, which honor the best offensive player at each position in each league. The awards precede what's expected to be an MVP coronation for each player later this week.
