Dozens of monkeys are on the loose in South Carolina. Residents in Yemassee and surrounding areas have been "strongly advised" to secure all doors and windows to prevent the animals from entering their homes.

At least 43 primates were on the loose Thursday in a South Carolina town where authorities "strongly advised" residents to keep their doors and windows locked after the animals escaped from a research laboratory.

The company provides “primate research and development support to the scientific community,” according to its website.
