During a WNBA game between the Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday, July 29, a green object, later identified as a sex toy, was thrown onto the court mid-game, breaking the WNBA's policies.

“Even so, when you have a lime green item just kind of fly… that’s when the whistle should be blown because as a player you want to feel protected, you want to know what’s going on, and then there’s confusion on the at final possession,” fellow announcer Morgan Ragan said.

The Atlanta Dream faced an unusual game interruption when a lime green item appeared on the court during a tense battle against the Valkyries
