Walmart has recalled more than 2,000 cases of Great Value Family Size Chicken Broth sold in Texas and eight other states. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported the recall in December affecting the broth with a shelf life lasting until March 2026.

The FDA recalled more than 2,000 cases of Great Value chicken broth sold at 242 Walmart locations across the nine states due to compromised packaging that could lead to bacterial spoilage, which could be undetectable through taste and smell.

The FDA said the containers had packaging problems that could lead to the broth spoiling. There have been no reports of illnesses.
