No team liked to push the ball downfield more than the Vikings during the regular season. Very few teams were more dangerous along the front four than the Rams. The Vikings’ offensive line had just come off its worst game of the year against the Detroit Lions.

Unfortunately for the Vikings, they were unable to put up a good fight in the Wild Card and got blown out by the Rams, 27-9. The Los Angeles defense smothered the Minnesota offense, with Sam Darnold even tying the NFL record for the most sacks taken (nine) in a playoff game.
