In a post to Truth Social on Thursday, President Trump said the U.S. would be forced to "go in and kill" Hamas if it "continues to kill people in Gaza."
The ceasefire agreement was based on a proposal by Trump. The one-page document, signed by Israeli Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and Hamas representatives, outlined a phased withdrawal of Israeli forces, the release of hostages and prisoners, and the resumption of humanitarian aid.
