Severe storm threat across North Texas
Severe storms predicted Thursday and Friday in parts of Central Texas
After 5 p.m. Thursday, chances for isolated to scattered storms move northwest into the Hill Country. This will take us to about 8 p.m. when dry, cloudy conditions take over again. The chance for severe storms is low, with a "marginal" risk (level 1 out of 5) per the Storm Predictions Center.

The severe threat sticks around for Friday as well. The risk area moves slightly to the east and downgrades to a level 1 or a marginal threat. Quarter size hail, and gusting winds are the biggest concern, but we can't rule out a spin up tornado.
