Jake Latz and the rest of the Rangers’ bullpen arms were fresh for the series finale after the work of Patrick Corbin and Jacob deGrom.

Bochy did not indicate how long Latz would pitch or the arrangement of the relievers after Latz.  The only pitcher he said he intends to stay away from is right-handed reliever Chris Martin, who pitched the ninth inning of Saturday's victory over the Nationals.

After the Nationals shut out the Rangers in game one of the series, Texas returned the favor last night. A Jacob Degrom masterclass lifted the Rangers to a 5-0 win. The streaky Nationals offense needs to get back on track. They have been very quiet this home stand.
