The amount of guaranteed money in the second-round deals has been at issue ever since the Texans signed Jayden Higgins, the second pick of the round, to the first-ever fully guaranteed contract for a second-rounder in May.

The NFL’s second-round rookies are finally signing their contracts. Up until two nights ago, the only players in that round who had inked deals with the teams that selected them back in April were Cleveland Browns linebacker Carson Schwesinger and Houston Texans receiver Jayden Higgins,

Training camp approaches quickly, and most second-round draft picks remained unsigned. As of right now, only the Browns, Texans, 49ers and Bears have signed second-round picks.
