TORONTO — As Shea Weber gave his speech to accept his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday evening, there was a moment that was extremely telling of who he is and what he meant to the game and to whoever crossed paths with him over his career.

Shea Weber is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. The former defenseman headlined the 2024 class inducted Monday night, joining Russian center Pavel Datsyuk and Boston-born winger Jeremy Roenick, as well as Olympic medalists Natalie Darwitz and Krissy Wendell in the player category.

Two former members of the Predators were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday: defenseman Shea Weber and GM David Poile.
