The Seattle Mariners season is over. One game short of reaching the elusive World Series for the first time in franchise history. And the pain inside the visitor's clubhouse was palpable.

While only one of the two teams competing in the American League Championship Series was from the United States, that didn't seem to have a negative effect on U.S. viewership numbers.

MLB is having its most-viewed postseason in the U.S. since 2017, with the Seattle Mariners' ALCS against Toronto a big part of it.

The Toronto Blue Jays have forced a deciding Game 7 with their 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners in the penultimate contest of the 2025 American League Championship Series. That outcome means that the pennant will be decided back in Toronto on Monday night with a spot in the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the line.

Workers at the hospital might have been surprised, but they were no less grateful for the generosity of Blue Jays fans. “Every donation to Seattle Children’s fuels our mission and is truly appreciated,” said Sabrina Register, Public Relations Manager for Seattle Children's, as part of a statement.
