2024 American League MVP Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees and 2024 National League MVP Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers were the leading vote-getters in the latest MLB.com MVP poll, per Jason Foster. A panel of 41 experts participated in the poll, and Judge received 40 first-place votes while Ohtani received 31.

Judge got the fireworks going with a 446-foot solo shot to dead center on a 1-1 pitch from Tony Gonsolin. The Yankees slugger’s 19th homer of the season tied him with Kyle Schwarber for third in the majors.
