A stunning late strike from Amad Diallo earned Manchester United a 2–2 draw at Nottingham Forest, extending the club’s unbeaten run to four games.

United earned a creditable point through Amad’s first goal of the season and it was a spectacular one — hit sweetly on the volley, during the second phase of Mbeumo’s right-sided set-piece, after Nikola Milenkovic’s headed clearance only went as far as the edge of the penalty box.

United travel to the Midlands with growing confidence, their recent performances marked by energy, coherence and belief. Amorim’s methods are beginning to show results, and the team looks increasingly synchronised in attack. Forest, by contrast, are still finding their identity under Dyche, and the inconsistency is evident.
