Thousands of demonstrators packed the streets near the Huntington Beach Pier on Saturday for a “No Kings Day” protest, clashing with supporters of President Donald Trump, in a noisy and chaotic standoff.

More than 1,000 demonstrators are expected to rally in West Palm Beach today for 'No Kings Day,' a nationwide event protesting Donald Trump on his birthday.

"We are here today in Tacoma saying we will not yield to that darkness in the smallest dimension," said former governor Jay Inslee.

Social media users slammed CBS News for seemingly advertising "No Kings Day" protest merchandise ahead of anti-Trump demonstrations, calling the move unethical amid controversies.

The mass protest was focused on the Trump administration's actions that protesters believe are authoritarian and blur the line of democracy.
