Police found the man 15 minutes after the third shooting, which was reported on the 2300 block of 17th Avenue South at around 7:20 p.m. According to O'Hara, the suspect was arrested without incident near 26th St. East and 17th Avenue South during an extensive police search.

The police chief said this is "probably the third shooting we've had associated with this particular encampment" and police will clear it once the crime scene has been processed.

EYEWITNESS NEWS is at the scene of a large police presence near Bloomington Avenue and 25th Street in Minneapolis, where officials say a homicide investigation is underway.
