Michigan State football's busy offseason in the transfer portal soared "into the wild blue yonder" on Monday as the Spartans added Air Force linebacker David Santiago. The Spartans landed their 12th commitment from the transfer portal this offseason when Santiago announced on social media that he will be heading to East Lansing.

Michigan State football knows it had issues in the pass rush during the 2024 campaign, having a concerningly low number of sacks and quarterback pressures. The Spartans have addressed the need their in transfer portal,

Eaton began his career at Oklahoma, where he played three years before moving to Texas State, where he was a starter for the past two seasons. With TSU, he racked up 49 tackles and 13 pass breakups, while he only gave up 17 catches for 264 yards in the 2024 season.

Michigan football has been active in the transfer portal as of late. The Wolverines have seven commitments from the portal and Michigan is supplementing holes in its roster by adding some talented players who have experience elsewhere.
