Meta is integrating WhatsApp into its Accounts Center, as WABetaInfo spotted. The change, which is rolling out globally “over the next few months,” lets WhatsApp users share status updates across Instagram and Facebook, as well as enable single sign-on.

Meta to give users option to link WhatsApp account with Facebook and Instagram - The social media giant said it was introducing the ability for users to add a WhatsApp profile to its Accounts Centre hub.

Accounts Center is a single space allowing users to manage their Facebook, Instagram and (even) Meta Quest log-ins. Today, Meta has announced that WhatsApp is joining the list of supported apps, enabling you to reshare statuses and posts across all of your platforms.

The company is working towards creating a unified ecosystem that links all three platforms: Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp.

After Facebook and Instagram, WhatsApp can soon also be integrated into Meta's account overview, for example to share status messages.
