MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The University of Memphis Tigers are back in the AP Top 25 after Saturday's win over the University of South Florida Bulls. The Tigers took the final spots in the AP Top 25 and the AFCA Coaches Poll. Memphis had fallen out of the rankings after last week's loss to the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Memphis' path to the American Conference title narrowed considerably after its loss to UAB. Now the Tigers have to win out for any shot at the CFP.

Just seven days after a stunning loss to UAB as 23.5-point favorites, Memphis rebounded with a statement victory, storming back from 14 down in the fourth quarter to upset No. 18 South Florida 34-31.
