It still looks like most of the Memorial Day weekend will be dry for most of the ArkLaTex. That will likely change very late Sunday and especially Sunday night as another cold front brings storms back to the ArkLaTex.

A large area of severe thunderstorms is forecast into Tuesday night and will overlap areas in the Ohio, Tennessee and middle Mississippi valleys that were hit by deadly and damaging storms, forecasters say.

The Thursday nor’easter will move up into eastern Maine and eventually Canada on Friday. As we start the long Memorial Day weekend, the dwindling storm system will still be a bit of a factor in our weather, just relinquishing its grip as time moves along.
