MAXTON, SC (WMBF) - The Maxton Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old. Police Chief Schirra Johnson said it happened Saturday night around midnight on North Brooklyn Street, which is near North McNair Street. Johnson said that they have persons of interest in the shooting.
The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division is leading the investigation, assisted by the FBI, the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and state Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE) agents.
