A young woman was struck and killed by gunfire while walking a child to a bus stop in Louisville, Kentucky, on Wednesday morning, authorities said.

A woman was fatally shot while walking a student near a Louisville, Ky., bus stop this week as police continue to search for a suspected shooter.
