A crowd took over several streets in downtown Los Angeles, leaving a trail of destruction late Saturday, tagging businesses, a Metro train and even an LAPD patrol car.

Fireworks were launched at a police helicopter, several ground officers were struck by projectiles and there was vandalism damaging a train, local businesses and a police car.
