As Hurricane Beryl moves toward South Texas, its main threat is heavy rainfall. Storms are expected throughout Texas this weekend and next week.

Hurricane Beryl will enter the Gulf of Mexico on Friday night. After that, it's expected to move toward South Texas.

The NHC said Friday there is an “increasing risk” of hurricane-force winds, storm surge and flooding for northeastern Mexico and southern Texas for later this weekend.
