The Trump administration is set to take the almost unprecedented action of stripping Harvey Milk’s name from a Navy ship, a defense official told CNN.

The former Navy officer, who resigned over questions surrounding his sexuality in 1955, is having his naval recognition revoked under new Pentagon leadership.
