There are still some talented running backs available on the free-agent market, but the Dallas Cowboys reportedly aren't in a rush to sign one of them.

The 2025 NFL schedule has been trickling out this week and on Wednesday morning one of the more intriguing matchups was announced as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will face Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day.

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day at AT&T Stadium, the NFL announced Wednesday.

In the team’s annual home Thanksgiving Day game, the Dallas Cowboys will welcome in the Kansas City Chiefs in 2025 for a 3:25 p.m. kickoff on CBS, the NFL announced on Wednesday morning.

The matchup is set for the first game of the upcoming NFL regular season with the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles hosting the Cowboys on Sept. 4.

Dak Prescott is excited that the Dallas Cowboys get to start the 2025 season by taking on the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.
