Dollar General announced a recall of some of its Clover Valley instant coffee after a customer brought a concern about possible glass fragments being found in the product to its employees.

The product being recalled is the 8-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee with the UPC 876941004069, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The coffee has the lot numbers L-5163 and L-5164 which both have a best by date of Dec. 13, 2026 and L-5165 with the best by date Dec. 14, 2026,

A brand of instant coffee sold exclusively at Dollar General stores has been recalled over the possible presence of glass. According to the Food and Drug Administration, the recall applies to three lots of the eight-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee containers.
