Carlos Rodon had New York Yankees fans pulling their hair out once again in a loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, but there are several reasons to believe that better things are ahead for the high-priced lefty.

After at times looking dominant into the sixth inning, Rodón issued a walk right before giving up a second home run to Jung Hoo Lee, this one a three-run shot that squandered a Yankees lead and led to a 5-4 loss to the Giants in The Bronx.

Rodon's struggles this season have now played a factor in him tying an unwanted franchise record. Rodon has now allowed 51 home runs in his Yankees tenure, which ties him with JA Happ for the most homers allowed by a Yankees pitcher in their first 50 games with the team.
