Carlos Rodon had New York Yankees fans pulling their hair out once again in a loss to the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, but there are several reasons to believe that better things are ahead for the high-priced lefty.

Rodon's struggles this season have now played a factor in him tying an unwanted franchise record. Rodon has now allowed 51 home runs in his Yankees tenure, which ties him with JA Happ for the most homers allowed by a Yankees pitcher in their first 50 games with the team.

Rodon, who took a 3-1 lead into the sixth, allowed four runs and three hits over 5 2/3 innings. With one out in the sixth, he walked Willy Adames, and Jung Hoo Lee, who homered off Rodon in the fourth, cracked a three-run homer to put the Giants ahead 4-3 (Christian Koss led off the inning with an infield single).
