Hurricane forecasters are monitoring a tropical disturbance expected to move to the Gulf of Mexico and a new system in the Atlantic Ocean alongside remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.

The next tropical storm could come from a slow-spinning system in the northern Caribbean, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The National Hurricane Center on Thursday increased odds that a developing system could head into the Gulf of Mexico and become a tropical depression or storm, while it also kept tabs on two systems in the Atlantic.
