Former Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested Sunday morning in Texas and booked into jail on suspicion of DWI and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Former NFL MVP Adrian Peterson was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to online jail records in Texas' Fort Bend County.
