A short but tense distribution dispute between Disney and DirecTV came to an end Saturday after the two sides agreed to a new deal that will restore Disney-owned channels, including ABC, ESPN and FX,

Disney and DirecTV announced a deal ending a 13-day blackout of ESPN, ABC and other networks on the satellite and streaming provider's services.

DirecTV and Disney on Saturday announced an agreement in principle to end their carriage dispute. DirecTV said it is working to finalize a new multi-year contract. All channels were immediately restored to DirecTV satellite, streaming and U-verse customers, according to the company.
