Riley Minix and the rest of the San Antonio Spurs' Summer League squad have four games to play in Las Vegas — plenty of time for him to shoot the basketball.

Edgecombe missed his two games because of a thumb contusion. Bailey missed his game because of a groin injury. Sorber will miss all of Summer League as he recovers from a February toe surgery. Thiero is expected to miss all of the Lakers' Summer League games as he recovers from a knee injury.

The Lakers (0-1) were led by Cole Swider, collecting 24 points and eight rebounds. DJ Steward had 20 points, two rebounds and six assists. Each player shot 7-for-10 from the field. Dalton Knecht compiled 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals, while Darius Bazley led the bench with 10 points, four rebounds and three blocks.

Harper became the highest Scarlet Knight ever taken in the NBA Draft when he was picked second by the Spurs. He averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game for Rutgers in his only season in Piscataway. He shot 48.4% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point line.

The priority at summer league was clear from the moment the Miami Heat went out for the opening tip at Saturday’s opener at the California Classic, with some familiar faces leading the way.
