The flood threat moves back over Houston today. We’ll be tracking waves of heavy rain from the coast to Houston. In fact, more rain with the potential for flooding is possible Thursday too. The heaviest rain looks to fall along our coastal cities.

The week’s wet weather pattern will continue Thursday with coastal communities again facing the prospect of localized street flooding. A flood watch issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect for coastal areas through Friday morning as a stubborn upper-level system of low atmospheric pressure slowly meanders northward.
