Easy to find but much larger than expected. Being older, we were only able to see 3 caves as we only had 2 days. But really enjoyed our adventure and will be back Full review by LovefoodABC

I’m probably a little late to answer this, but I would recommend picking out a few caves to visit beforehand... There is a loop you can drive through that has a whole bunch of caves, some of which are among the “best” ones there. Hopkins Chocolate Cave, for example.

Yikes. You willbe a long way from anywhere if you do this at Thanksgiving. We went at the end of May. It's wonderful to roam around, but snow? Ice? Car getting stuck?

The caves are open all year, just beware of winter weather. We typically go in November. Some years it is chilly, some years warmer, some really cold. We get sun, rain, and sometimes snow. We took our dog one year it snowed, he had a good time.

It is very remote with no real town nearby. But u might try Klamath Falls for a kennel

I didn't know they had a campground. I was traveling from Reno to I-5 and did not spend the night anywhere near there.
