Tucked away In the scenic, hilly woodlands of Oklahoma's Sans Bois Mountains, Robbers Cave State Park is a favorite for outdoor lovers. The park and adjoining wildlife management area offer acres of discovery and enjoyment including seasonal trout fishing, miles of hiking, equestrian trails, rugged cliffs for climbing and stunning fall foliage. Once a former hideout for notorious outlaws like Jesse James and Belle Starr, this CCC-built park features RV, primitive and equestrian camping in addition to a lodge, cabins, yurts, group camp facilities and a swimming area in the no-wake lake.

Beautiful park with lots of amenities and recreational opportunities. Cabin was very comfortable - had Direct TV! Restaurant across the highway from the camping area. Full review by Cindycycle

I have a pontoon boat and I know you don't allow them. Is there somewhere close to you that does? We rented a cabin for mother's day weekend and would like to boat also.
A:
Lake Eufaula to the west, is Oklahoma's largest lake. Has everything. South part of the lake is the clearest. Sardi's is to the south. Never been there. I think it's a good fishing lake.

We took our 10 month old last fall and it was great. Stayed in a cabin so we had all the amenities of home. We took a portable play pen and used that as his crib. We used a hiking baby …

We took our 10 month old last fall and it was great. Stayed in a cabin so we had all the amenities of home. We took a portable play pen and used that as his crib. We used a hiking baby backpack carrier and did a little hiking in the trails around the cave. He lasted for about 1 hour in the pack before getting fussy. We did stop at that point, have a little snack/rest and then hiked back. There were several play grounds for kids and the nature center was small, but helped burn another 15 or at minutes of time. There is a short "nature trail" over by the nature center and we took the stroller with us on that. It worked for most of the trail. We did have to pick it up a few times to get over obstacles, but it mostly worked. Have fun!
