I get that you may not want to offer unlimited hotspot usage without some type of restriction. But on a data limited plan (5 for $100 was 10GB each line), then I should be able to use that data however I wanted to.

For the new $70 plan, not sure if others have successfully unofficially tethered or if Cricket has somehow blocked the $70 plan from any hotspot, officially or unofficially, since hotspot is not an option for that plan.

WEBDec 24, 2006 · The "network refresh" app trick stopped working about 4 or 5 months ago for the hotspot, I'd guess from an Android update. Bluetooth is only 1.5Mb/1.5Mb but works fine in a pinch. Also less of an issue now that I have a Mobley with USB power.
