WEBDon't get the pods. I suggest a mesh system like ZenWifi or Eero. I like the Asus XT8 but it might be a little beyond your budget at 350$. Ethernet backhaul is better/faster but this mesh system also supports 5Ghz backhaul. Darkatt.

I don't know how 6E would "blow away all other WiFi routers" if it'd be essentially limited to line-of-sight. I am debating about buying a couple of the Panoramic Wifi Pods 2.0. I see it has two Ethernet ports on it.

what brand mesh networks will work with my Cox router
WEBHonored Contributor III. 3 years ago. If you have a wireless router and need to extend its wireless range, you can buy Range Extenders, Mesh Routers or plain ol' routers. With Range Extenders, Panoramic is limited to only the Pods. If you want to install plain ol' routers in the dead zones, these will work with your Arris TG1682.

WEBGot the new Panoramic WiFi router and all installed and working properly for both 2.4GhZ and 5GhZ. I also got a new WiFi pod 2.0. Ran the first time install and all goes well but the pod never comes online. The install shoots a message unable to bring the pod online. While looking in the App, I see the pod there but in an offline status.
