I bought it used, and I turned quite a few decent pieces on it before I moved up to the Powermatic. If the one you're seeing is the 15" model, then the $75 price is a steal.

If you can get the tool apart and take the bearings out, they should have a number on them, take the bearings to a bearing shop and buy new ones (if they are fried) this will be WAY cheaper than buying bearings from DeWalt.

The banjo isn't as substantial as the one on my old lathe, the Jet 1236, but it stays put. The tool rest shaft diameter is 5/8", the same as other midi and mini lathes.
