Other than that, I've been very happy with the drill, driver, recip saw, circular saw, portable vacuum, 6 gallon shop vac, and the carbide steel drill bits and other add-ons.

My thought is that the best tool is the one you have with you and Bauer makes it easy to afford a wide range of tools to have on deck. Edit: Also wanted to add that If you’re comparing Bauer to B&D, Bauer definitely has a wider range of 20v tools to choose from.

WEBI have several bauer tools. I have the drill/driver, 1/4" impact, reciprocating saw, leaf blower, and battery weed eater. I got the yard tools because I bought my first house in late 2021 and I already batteries plus I live on a quarter acre. The tool battery weed eater and leaf blower do all I need for a small yard plus my push mower.
Does anyone have any long term use with Bauer or Hercules?
WEBMy nephew bought a bunch of Bauer cordless tools to use at work (construction) around a year ago. The tools are all lasting great, but the problem he is having is the batteries, as they are just to the point of not wanting to charge properly. At 19.99 replacement cost per battery, that is still not really any issue.

WEBMay 30, 2020 · Let me preface this by saying I'm a big fan of Milwaukee cordless tools. I have their M12 (12 volt) drill/driver and M12 impact driver and love them. Compact, lightweight, and good battery life. When I was installing pictures for a living my boss and I both carried M12 drill/drivers on our toolbelts and used them daily.

WEBJun 15, 2023 · The 1/2" Bauer impact didn't have enough torque for lug nuts but my 1/2" Ryobi has been great. Some of my Bauer batteries are dead but to be fair they are older than my Ryobi batteries though they had far less wear on them. In general I'd say expect weaker motors in the Bauer stuff and cheaper build quality.

WEBJul 26, 2022 · Direct Tools offers blemished (new) ridgid and ryobi tools for prices that frequently undercut Bauer/Herc. Furthermore, they are almost always excluded from their ever more infrequent coupons. So overall it's not a horrible thing to do, but you can almost always get a better option for the same or less.

WEBMay 17, 2023 · The tools have held up very well to the abuse and can't say that I have had any issues over the past 4 years of using the brands. I do wish Bauer carried more tooling options like Hercules does, but it's not a huge deal to buy a few batteries of each or adapters to switch between tool brands and just buy the brand tool/brand battery you want.
